Barclays Bank Grey Street Previously the Turks Head Hotel is a listed Grade II building, situated in the Heart of Newcastle. Occupying four floors as office space, employing approximately 200 staff working in various parts of Business Banking.
Hedley Solutions since gaining the contract in the North East to undertake work for Barclays, have over the years refurbished all floors. Included in these tasks were Video conferencing, Audio Visual, Power and Data supplies and General Lighting. The total value of works at this site accumulate to approximately £200,000.00
Due to the age of the building which has high exposed and listed ceilings the works involved were of a delicate nature and completed out of hours (night shift and weekends), to afford no down time to staff operations which enabled the bank to carry out its day to day business.
The final task at this site consisted of the refurbishment of the main staircase, ground and second floor reception areas.
